Our Team
Brian
Barr and
Graham
Findlay
founded the 3G group in 2001 with the shared belief that
the coming shift to a low carbon economy would produce
exciting business opportunities.
The first product of that
vision was Vector Wind Energy Inc. which was
successfully floated on the Toronto Venture stock
exchange in 2005 before being sold in 2007 and producing
a 400% gain for our original shareholders.
Brian
Barr
Brian
focuses on business issues for the group.
He guided Vector through its
initial public listing and was responsible for its
overall strategy.
Brian
has held several director and executive officer
positions with public companies in
Canada and the United States
over the last 15 years.
He is an attorney with over
25 years experience in international, corporate and
energy law.
Brian
also has a degree in business administration from
Carleton
University.
Graham
Findlay
Graham
concentrates on the technical and engineering challenges
involved in renewable energy development and deployment.
He brings over 25 years of
engineering and project management skills to the team.
A former director of the
Building Owners and Managers Association, (“BOMA”) of Ottawa, Graham
is uniquely qualified to lead our commercial rooftop
solar projects.
Currently he is a board
member of the Ontario Sustainable Energy Association and
the Ontario Community Power Fund where he provides
policy input for the Green Energy Act.
Mr. Findlay has
a B Sc (Civil Engineering) degree
from Queen’s
University in Kingston
and a MBA from University of
Toronto
and is registered as a P. Eng. in Ontario.

whose services are retained on a contract basis as
required.

has close to 156,000 square meters of manufacturing
space in
China
with a module capacity of over 600MW, and it recently

a 40 acre testing facility in
Brockville, Ontario where it
researches various types of alternative energy
resources, focusing mainly on solar racking systems.
Working closely with the Arizona
Public Service facility in
Tempel, Arizona, UCSG establishes
protocols, testing procedures and installation
techniques to optimize tracking solutions with panel and
inverter technologies.
